It is called a .GIF Image.

gd tut but not what i need i mean like i get a video of youtube then stick in a image ?

Go to [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] (Not trying to advertise) and put in the YouTube URL.

How you do everything is self explanatory.

Then save the .GIF image it produces to you. But wait! There's a problem, it's watermarked.

Now you use this tut to remove that watermark: Forums/viewtopic/p=693136.html

Even though the above tut is for a different site, the same concept still applies.
