Have you heard of and die hard Christians in the marines? I know there are some Christians but idk if God wants people in the marines but i want to fight for my country

So yesterday i heard that thing about steven hawkins saying that there is no heaven and all and then today my school went into lockdown and for all we knew the guys that were on the campus had weopons and someone could be been killed (we were in lockdown for like 2 hours) and so i was thinking about God and all and i relized that i really want to believe in him i really do but i cant i just can't... Im scared to die and just not exist anymore... No memories nothing... I guess what im trying to ask is there anyway i can assure myself that God is real? And that i won't just not wxist after i die? Please, im desperate... Whoever helps me the most gets +repped!!

I always say seeing is believing and until I see God then I won't believe in him. If that day comes then I will , I do believe that there may be a possible god, however I do believe in spirits etc and it will stay that way until my eyes tell me different.

"Even though you protest, talk bad, and say what they are doing is wrong, they STILL fight for your freedom. For all you know if that guy your yelling at now hadn't risked his life for YOUR rights, you may not even have the right to protest this without being tortured/imprisened"

Well man i had this long paragraph but my browser close for updates. Well what i was saying was Just think when you die the only thing you remember is your Family,friends,People who made you better as a person,and people you care about.And the thing you dont remember is the things bad that happen to you or your friends,Family,People who you care about and who care about you. Think of haven as a place you love to visit and/or love to go. And when your friends,family,people who you care about pass away then they are just waiting for you and when you pass away then you will be with the friends family and people who you care about that past and with them you wait for the rest of your friends family and people you care about that hasn't pasted and when they do you will all be together and when you all together the you go to the place you love and/or love to visit there. And start a new life with you and the people you love..And in that life there is no killing no fighting no making fun of people. And no passing away...
