I would suggest a reflow. Although it should be done using a reflow oven, or IRDA Reflow station, you can get a kit, to do it with a heatgun from Ebay, for around 30. The Kit will come with everything you need, including an opening tool, and 2 Torx screwdrivers(T10, T8) If you are intrested in doing it yourself, let me know and I will get you the link

Either do sum studying about them and learn how to use 1 b 4 u go out and buy a jtag and then if u break it dont just go on ttg and expect sum1 to help u out everytime bcuz they def. will NOT! And i know every1 started out not knowing everything at first but just do research and learn what is the best jtag that u can get and all this. And just to let u know a jasper jtag is the best out thier bcuz it almost nvr will over heat on u... It could be from the power brick. Check to see if the power brick is 203W. If it isnt, then that is most likely the problem.
Also, the only fix for that is a proper reflow or reball. Reballs are like $65.

The 0102 error code is the most common error code on the xbox 360. The trouble with this error code is, it could mean a verity of things. First off you want to avoid having to reflow it unless it is completely necessary. That being said, buy some arctic silver 5 thermal paste(like $11 a tube, lasts a long time though). Open your jtag and thoroughly clean off the cpu and gpu using a combination of a puddy knife(a credit card works too) and goo gone. Then apply a rice sized amount of thermal paste to each processor and spread it around. Reattach the heat sinks and add a size 10 washer under each wing of the x-clamp. Then screw the mo-bo back into its case and plug in the disk drive. take the fan and lay it on top of the dvd drive such that one of the fans it sitting on top of the cpu an the gpu is under the dvd drive receiving no air current. Power on the xbox and let it run 30min or so and then power it down and let it cool down. Power it on after it cools and 80% of the time your xbox will power on and run better than ever. In the event that it doesn't, you're no further behind and you can just get it reflowed. Hope this helps
