Please help me fix this error i get it evertime. I dont wanna open my xbox so is there anyone that could post a reply helping me ?

isit when your trying to Play a game or Dvd ? + how old is your xbox ?

IVE had this xbox since xbox 360 came out and im trying to play cod 4 which i just bought...

when u put the game in and close the disc tray tap the disc tray when it closing and it should work thats what i did

I got the same error, as long as you don't wanna send in your xbox to microsoft for a free repair or replacement, do the following:
1. When disc is inside, shut down the xbox using the button on the xbox.
2. Plug out your xbox's HDD, and start it up by pressing the eject button.
3. Take out the disc, and shut down the xbox using the handcontroller (hold guide btn for 3 sec and shut down).
4. Start Xbox again using the eject button, and this time, put in another game except the one u had in before.
5. The Xbox should now read the game. Turn off the xbox using the Xbox shutdown button.
6. Plug in the Xbox HDD again and start the Xbox using the start/shutdown button on the Xbox and eject the disc and put in the game u wanna play.
This worked (and still works) for me. Hope it helped you - and if u can, leave me some rep =) Thanks
