Basically, there were quarks, electrons and protons. From somewhere but nobody knows. Similar to how god could of been created.
Then suddenly there was intense pressure as the atom sized universe expanded in a fraction of a second into a grapefruit sized universe. Then eventually the protons and electrons made compounds into hydrogen (i think) then it kind of went from there.

But it just stumps me where those compounds have came from. Like you and Chunkeh say though; you can say the same thing about God.
It is just all about your faith. I was brought up believing there is a God, and I will stay that way. Anyone else on the other hand, I respect you for your opinion
