Really, what has happened to this site? When I joined last March with my first account (which my brother got banned, LOL) I had already been browsing the MW2 glitch forums since December. What really got me into this site were the great modders and members we had. There was no gift of gold. Sure, there were still badge tryhards, leechers, you name it, but something huge has changed on this site. It meant something to have 500 posts or be gold. Some kid couldn't just gift gold or spam it up back then. There were fewer members (the site still popular nonetheless) and people who did spam for their post count were called out on it. Now, it's the majority of the members getting gold, feeling important, and posting very heavily, getting 1000 posts in a month. For me, 1,000 posts took three times that; I tried atleast to help people and post productive things.
Speaking of productivity, I also think that word has lost its meaning in this community. Hell, even the word community has lost its meaning. Flaming someone, spamming, or posting stupid responses to a technical issue when you have not a clue what you are talking about is hardly considered being "part of a community" in regular life, but here as long as you are "active" by posting a lot that's being a community. Well I hate to break it to you people but that is not what this website should be. When I post something, honestly unless its a video or rate my setup kind of thing, I don't really appreciate seeing responses like "thats cool 20202020".
And one last note on the whole "community" thing, peoples' usernames are retarded now! Used to they were original and clever, like most online forums they were building an online name or identity for someone. My name is Lasers, which was inspired after a song that's a personal favorite. "-Pepsi-Fanboy-" does not have very much personality or creativity in my opinion. (it's just an example) I mean a brand name, and the fact that you're dickriding someone too?

As for you trolls and flamers, go die please. I've been inactive for around a month (just reading the forums and news once or twice a week) but had some time off last Saturday and started posting some responses. The first thing I did was post on someone's topic that I had a HD PVR for sale for $150 ( $50 off retail) and the first **** response was some little **** that just joined who said "mines mint and only $190" hell, the person asking for it could just go to Best Buy. Not to mention he had no proof. The second incident was on a nice little troll post by "I-Gift-Gold" who happened to be a huge attention whore that joined that day. I posted on his topic about where he was really mad that he was getting too many PMs about gold gifting (go figure! with that name it was pretty obvious he was another attention starved kid trying to start a war) Anyways I said something to the effect of "Well Ive been here since August and started buying gold as soon as I joined with this account but my paypal is screwed up" and he told me I needed to make more productive posts? Telling a guy with nearly 3,000 posts, who's hosted numerous lobbies on my own KVs for gold members and had a sticky topic that I needed better posts, when his only post was a sob story about getting too many PMs? That really pissed me off and I honestly don't really feel like trying to post on here anymore. Not saying I'm leaving, but I don't want to put much effort into this "community" if that's how I'm treated in return.

Anyways thanks for reading my rant. I know that this is a gaming website, and just wanted to explain my thoughts about some of the problems on here. I'm personally saddened to see the website littered with so many little kids posting and really just want to help.
