I bought a iPhone Shell for Appx. €18 of ebay. I thought it would be a simple job.
It turned out I had to dissemble the whole iPhone to get to the original shell and replace each part into the new shell.
Because I am so amazing I ended up with these defects :
1:My Microphone doesnt work. (I have headphones with a mic so its not too bad.
2:The battery life seems to be CRAP and wont chare. Possibly due to the connections.( I will open it again and try to fix.)
3: The vibration is gone. (Due to the same reason as the Battery. Will try fix)
4:My network signal for Wi-Fi and for calls etc is TERRIBLE.
All of these should be fixable. (Hopefully)
I think the new case was work the defects because I now have a volume button.
Also my old shell was cracked.
But hey you cant complain when you go the phone for free second hand eh?

Really good looking case, and yep, can't complain in the slightest if you got it free. 8)

haha joe thats some lovely skills you have there the ablity to brake things is uncanning i think ur mic might be du to the mic hole being at the bottom u might of knocked the connection but the others i cant help u eith i gave away my iphone

ya it seems to be something like that. I will have to have another look again. Before the head set on the top of the phone ( Where you listen on calls) broke but is now working again

haha do what i did tell ur house insurance u have it throw it down the stairs and claim a new one or have it insured under u bank and claim for broken my mate got 400pound for doing that haha
