As part of "what we know so far," we know it'll be set in Vietnam, which is guaranteed to prompt some discussion all on its own. The question is whether or not it will raise the ire of the more sensitive types who don't believe the Vietnam War should be made into entertainment. Beyond that, we know it'll have a licensed soundtrack (probably a good plan, considering the highly recognizable music from that era), there will be more than one conflict within the game (Americans aren't the only option, it seems), and oh yeah, it'll have a Zombie Mode...just because, damnit. Then there's talk of a hostage rescue stage, the weapons should be really sweet, Treyarch is indeed handling all the development duties, the multiplayer experience will be enhanced, and there will be a co-op mode for you and your buddies. Need to know anything else? Will that suffice for now? I know we don't have a heck of a lot of CoD fans around here but even so, you have to admit it's a pretty darn good franchise. And the launch date- November 9.

And this game is going to get plenty of attention, like it or not. Besides, we think Treyarch is a darn good developer - World at War was fantastic - so we have faith in them.
