e74 is almost always a gpu cold solder joint... there are some temporary fixes like towel trick/or manual overheatting it but if you want a permenant fix ask around about getting it reballed

Well, when it put's RROD on as red.

Press the eject button and sync button 4 time's

4 Lights lit= 0
3 Lights lit= 3
2 Lights lit= 2
1 Light lit= 1

Then give us the error code.

Lolol ^^ waterer you do don't do that aha but if you bought it from a legitament seller than you should be able to send it to them to fix or do what the guy above said...

If you are using an external hard drive make sure there are no .xex's in the root of the hard drive, do the same with your normal hard drive, (root of the drive is at the base, if there are xex's just put them in a folder and it should work.

If you still get the error then it is probably going to need reflowing.

Either reflow or reball, and by reflow i do NOT mean the towel trick or putting cocktail sticks in the fans.

E74 = a cracked solder joint under the GPU, can also be due tot he scaler / (H)ANA chip too

Unless you have a decent BGA rework station to hand i would try an xclamp replacement which will buy you an hour, maybe a week, a month if you're extremely lucky and never use it OR head to the marketplace and get it repaired properly
