if you have an xbox that has a custom ring of light and it gets rrod will it get what ever color your ring of light is

Depends. There are 3 different things that could happen..
1. The error LED's are the same color as your active LED's if the installer bridged the negative lead (most installers do this)
2. The error led is a different color (rare for custom boards)
3. There are no error LED's at all (if the installer did not bridge the neg. leads.

yes? they are just leds. So if u switch them out, for example: you can have RROD with purple leds.
