Not sure as I have only tryed this on a 3.61. I dont think this will make a difference but make sure you are deleting your cod4 patch.

Make sure you have your patch blocker ON when signing in/loading cod 4. Just keep it on the whole time.

if you delete data once game has loaded are you not then deleting the mods. & also if you use patch blocker can you only play online with other people that have bypassed ??????
