First of all,
When you hit a zombie in the water it explodes into pieces of ice,
When there are other zombies around it when it does this, they explode too.
So maybe if you get George to smash your frozen a** near the cave,
It would possibly crack a bit more?
I saw this post somewhere else, but I thought that I would elaborate a bit more as to why this would make sense.
