Can someone please tell me how to make a infection lobby... and is any of the infections possible to do via transfer cable?

Why is it that some infections stay on my xbox and others go away? Example: I was in a nuke care pack, 3 round burst to auto, assist aim, etc.. everything went away after leaving room and hosting my own match. When i was in a slow mo, super speed when sprinting, and ice mod game it let me leave and host and still have infection?
