Hey TTG.

im having trouble jailbreaking my ipod touch 1.1.5 version.

please help me, via link etc..

also ,my ipod touch wont connect to itunes, but it has no battery at all, i have the battery with a bit of red at the end with a big 'lightning' shape under it. once its plugged into my laptop. plase help me with this.

Im guessing your problem is that your ipod is dead and you need to recharge it and after it is done rechargine then you may jailbreak it

thanks. i have done, let it charge etc.

and it worked with all the scrolling writing etc. but when it finishes i just get an app whoch is a shortcut to the guys website who done the jailbreak..

btw i used ziphone.

so please help me?

Haha if your still on 1.1.5 and theres a 4.3.3 you are really late kid you need to upgrade

Indeed 1.1.5 is miles out of date. I would suggest updating to 4.3.3 there is an untethered jailbreak out for that + all Cydia apps and Tweaks will most likely not work on 1.1.5 because its so old anyway.

I suggest upgrading mate, most things on cydia probably won't work on 1.1.5 and there's decent unethered jailbreaks for 4.0.0+

ok thanks guys.ive just never had an ipod touch before.. just thought id get a cheap one, and by 'upgrading' do you mean buying a new one, or firmware wise?

Firmware wise but if your on a 2g mc model i wouldn't update yet as there is no fix for the greenpois0n cydia problems so wait for a bit untill a new firmware becomes availible

alright thanks for the tips guys.

i just found out that i can update my software to OS 3... for 2.99 whihc is cheap (in apple's eyes) so im just gunna do that, and use redsnow to jailbreak that version.

Yes but the only problem is that only ipod touch 1g can go up to 3.1.3 and thats what he has because no other ipod touch can have 1.1.5 except the 1st ipod touch which is the 1g of course
