360 more people have it then ps3 and i hate playing with the small controllers on ps3. the only plus is that ps3 has a blueray player

Xbox 360 for sure

depends wat u like better but personally i would get the ps3 because of better graphics and free online and blu ray but thats only because i already have a 360

The choice is entirely up to you, but however you must know what each console provides you:

An Xbox 360:

Pro's:
- Plays DVD's
- Better controllers
- Has some really popular games that Ps3 doesn't support
- Tons of videos, demos, arcade games, and themes to download
- and basic game console features

Con's:
- Very Expensive, you have monthly fee's for membership, there's fee's to get a head set, controllers are expensive, etc
- You can't play online multplayer unless you pay for a membership, which is an additional fee every month

Ps3:

Pro's:
- Free Live
- Blu Ray DVD support
- Free multiplayer
- Supports more head sets ( you can use almost any head set )
- East to mod, all you need is a Flash Drive

Con's:
- Arcade isn't as good as Xbox's
- Controller's are small
- Less people own this, which means less people to play with
- Doesn't have as wide of a game variety
