same old posts... has google stopped working?? look my view on errors etc... is basically that the xbox is f**ked!! save yourself the time and effort, go buy a new one! there is no proper fix, only a temp fix, and thats if your lucky, anything you can do is only putting off buying a new one, unless its in warranty, in which case ring M$, but really, just buy a new one
after saying all that tho.. you could try a new AV cable, you could be luck its not the gpu

E74: AV cable or GPU error... if There is a problem with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. If the cable is known to be working then there is a 90% chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip connected directly to the AV cable) in other cases it is the GPU, if its the gpu then you could try xclamp/penny/towel fix... but like i said, just BUY A NEW XBOX!!!
