"Milestones and Achievements"
Milestone - "a significant event or stage in the life, progress, development, or the like of a person, nation, etc.: Her getting the job of supervisor was a milestone in her career."
Achievements - "something accomplished, esp. by superior ability, special effort, great courage, etc.; a great or heroic deed: his remarkable achievements in art."

Should the milestones and achievements rules be reviewed? I see people being told "300 posts is not achievement", "Not the right thread" etc etc...
Should a new forum maybe be put in place for those that wish to celebrate certain achievements in real life, or online?
Seems that the milestones and achievements forum is awfully restricted to posting "I have X posts", which is a minor achievement
opinions guys?

Yeah. I've seen many of threads closed, and people even -repped for just posting "YAY, I GOT MY RECON ARMOR, FINALLY! " etc, just for posting it in milestones.
Seems a little harsh quite frankly

It's basically a TTG milestone thread, you can post your topics about life achievements in General discussion if you feel it's necessary.

I agree, I feel its more like an ONLINE achievement based Topic forum.
Maybe make one for real life goals being achieved and one for online gaming/post
