He is a trusted seller with a sticky. Should be okay, as I said I have not dealt with him and we only hear the bad things, what good has he done? Probably a lot. Thats why he has a sticky in the first place.

I'm not doing so because of you... He does have a sticky, but it does not mean he sells all quality stuff though.

All I can say is I have mixed opinions on this subject, is that fair to say?

He is legit but I am kinda pissed that my jtag got e74 after 2 weeks and they are supposed to be "New" consoles. Also I took very good care of it I never let it get hot.

to start with:

there are not to many brand new jtaggable consoles out there (maybe a few hidding). so you console is not brand new i assume. also when you purchase a jtag you have to take the good with the bad because an exploitable kernel is harder and harder to come by as time goes on with all the m$ updating and RRod going around.

just love the console you purchased and treat it right!!
pay the money and have it reballed!!!! dont waste your time and have some clown hit it with a heat gun or towl trick.

for the record, Im sure your console had e74 in the past:( that is an error that likes to come back (like cancer)

But I just bought a nib falcon. They are expensive $250+ but worth it.


I would avoid the DIY repairs as they are temps and damage your console further. Send it back for a rebal and get the other chips reflown while your at it...
