Post your own reviews here - if a review is good enough, and if the staff agree with it, it will be published as an official TTG Game Review.

Rules to follow if you want your review made official:

1. Users are permitted to copy only the manufacturers description of the game (synopsis).
2. You must have played the game.
3. All review parameters (gameplay/graphics/controls/etc) must be your own words.
4. Reviews must contain a rating from 1 to 10 - again this must be your own rating.

We are looking to create a wide selection of game reviews - but we want our own, not the reviews of other sites. We would far prefer your own reviews (regardless of size/quality) over that of one which has been copied from another site.

WARNING: All reviews will be checked prior to use - any official review that is found to be a copy and paste from another site will be deleted. Any user that is found to be stealing reviews from other sites repeatedly will be ignored as a future reviewer. While we will be checking these reviews before making any of them official, one may slip past our radar now and then. IF YOU SEE AN OFFICIAL REVIEW THAT HAS BEEN COPIED FROM ANOTHER SITE THEN PM US WITH THE LINK TO THE ORIGINAL SOURCE AND WE WILL REMOVE IT AS AN OFFICIAL REVIEW. Note that this doesn't matter for unofficial reviews posted in this sticky.

Minecraft Review

Gameplay

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ] has very unique gameplay, I seriously think that nobody has ever created a game similar to Minecraft. It has extremely fun gameplay, with the choice to play on various difficulty levels such as:

Hard- Enemies will deal much more damage than Normal mode, Creepers wont stop attacking you unless there is a large distance between you and the monster.

Normal- Monsters will deal the normal amount of damage.

Easy- Enemies deal much less damage than Hard and Normal, Creepers will stop attacking you if you move a short distance away from them.

Peaceful- No monsters spawn, but there is an exception of Wolves and Slimes.
In the game, you can collect materials to help you build a shelter, which is vital for night time, because as it gets dark, the monsters attack. You can create various items and objects using the resources around you.For example, two sticks and three pieces of wood can create a wooden pick axe.

Worlds

Worlds, this is what makes the game so unique Once you purchase the [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] version of the game, you can generate a world which is COMPLETELY RANDOM and matches no other world ever made in Minecraft. It gives you random resources and land structures But of course there is an option which allows you to type a code and itll generate a map depending on that. There is also a video where the creator of Minecraft, Notch shows a randomly generated Minecraft world being 8 times the size of our planet Earth.

Graphics

Your first thoughts on this game probably wouldve been these graphics stink! but trust me, the game-play makes up for EVERYTHING. There are options to use Fast or Fancy graphics. There are even options to add a custom texture pack which can completely re-do the graphics of the whole gamegiving it a nice touch and making it look much better than the Minecraft original texture pack.

World Design

In your very own randomly generated world, you are allowed to design it in anyway, you have no restrictions but ofcourse our laws of physicsCreate castles, mansions or just a plain old shack. Create dungeons, caves and anything you want. In Minecraft you are completely free!

Minecraft Conclusion
In conclusion, I would like to say that Minecraft is a great game, the game play is wonderful. Its a very unique game which you dont find nowadays, with all the WoW clonesId say that you try this game out and if you like it, purchase it. Alternatively you can play [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] but it doesnt include anything that you can get in the purchasable version of Minecraft.

In the Fallout universe, nuclear war has ravaged the country, but religious faith abides. In Fallout: New Vegas - Honest Hearts, men of God struggle to find peace in a land where strife is inescapable--a powerful theme for a downloadable add-on. The story in Honest Hearts doesn't take advantage of this fertile premise, but that premise still enriches this formulaic yet enjoyable adventure into Utah's Zion National Park. As its name would suggest, some see this region as a promised land, and it's here that two religious leaders struggle to maintain control in the face of a warring tribe that would drive them out. Zion is a big and atmospheric setting for a new adventure, and there's enough new content here to keep you busy for four or five hours as you shoot up charging geckos and get to know the local tribes. That said, Honest Hearts doesn't make a lasting impression; none of its characters, places, or events stand up to those of the main game or even those of Fallout 3's better content packs. Yet, this enjoyable excursion gives you several welcome chances to exercise the power of choice, and it rewards you with new perks, new weapons, and an increased level cap.

Shooting and looting: the best way to survive any trip to Utah.

The two men at the center of Honest Hearts are good, sincere blokes that nonetheless don't see eye to eye on how to deal with the White Legs, a violent tribe of nomads eager to scalp anyone that dares oppose them. One of these men is Daniel, a Mormon missionary with close ties to a tribe called The Sorrows. The other is Joshua Graham, otherwise known as The Burned Man. Joshua favors an aggressive approach toward the White Legs, which is no surprise given his violent past with Caesar's Legion. He is beloved by the Dead Horses tribe and preaches that mankind should shun the greed of the outside world. You stumble upon both men after the trading caravan you join falls victim to the White Legs, though neither makes a very strong impression. Joshua needs supplies like lunch boxes and walkie-talkies; Daniel sends you to find maps and disarm traps. These are nice men that nonetheless make you wonder how they managed to inspire the devotion of the locals. Joshua tells you that he was put on Earth to show people how to fight, yet he speaks in even tones, without an ounce of passion. For someone called The Burned Man, his personality lacks fire, and the tasks he needs performed are hardly extraordinary.

As mundane as the narrative is, you still get welcome opportunities to make decisions, though they would have more weight if you felt more invested in the consequences. Standard quests allow for a bit of flexibility. You might kill the gigantic Yao Guai creatures threatening the camp or collapse the cave in which they live. You could convince a tribesman to follow his heart and explore the "civilized" world or encourage him to stay with his people. The final series of decisions determine the future of several characters and their tribes, and these are outlined in an epilogue that closes the adventure in traditional Fallout fashion. Some of these characters include a few that join you as followers, and they, like Joshua and Daniel, are remarkably even tempered. It's nice to have their company, however--particularly that of Waking Cloud, a pious Sorrow tribeswoman indebted to Daniel for her saving her life. It's too bad that some of the quests these characters join you for are so routine. Find a key, open a cabinet, search for a compass: These are simple fetch quests that needed some dressing up with better context.

Even honest men keep a few secrets.
A few quests offer some variety, however, including one that pits you against a giant creature in Honest Hearts' best battle. The reward is an excellent melee weapon that nicely complements an intimidating helmet you might also grab before you head back to the Mojave. Other tangible goodies in this content include weapons (such as tomahawks) and new perks (extra damage when limbs are crippled). In addition, the level cap has been increased by five. Zion also serves as its own reward; its prickly cacti and red-orange plateaus provide a great backdrop to your travels. This graphics engine is showing its age, what with the bland textures, inconsistent shadows, and awkward animations. Yet campsites dotted with empty beer bottles and abandoned communal grills are an effective reminder of the civilization from which Joshua wants to shield his followers.

This being a Fallout game, it's no surprise that you could run into a number of bugs. These include some enemies you cannot damage or target in the Vault-Tec Assisted Targeting System because they are standing in water; corpses hovering in midair; and non-player characters running from you in fear for absolutely no reason. Don't let such typical bugs dissuade you from considering Fallout: New Vegas - Honest Hearts, however. The story and related quests don't surprise, but this add-on gives you the opportunity to once again influence those you meet and accomplish your goals as you see fit. And, you do those things in a desert environment harboring enough creatures and caves to make it worth exploring.

Fallout 3

Game Information
Release Date: 10/28/2008
Developed By: Bethesda Game Studios
Genre: RPG/Open ended
Platform: Cross Platform
Age Restrictions: 17+

Synopsis
Fallout 3 is a extraordinary First/Third Person RPG, this is a world similar to ares but a nuclear war occurred leaving it a desolate wasteland filled with tons of weird creatures and few normal people. You being one of the normal people have to grow up and try and rescue the world by preforming tons of different tasks!

[ Register or Signin to view external links. ]

Story (Credit to Wikipedia)
The main quest begins after the player escapes Vault 101 at age 19. The search for James, the player's father, takes the character on a journey through the wasteland, first to the nearby town of Megaton, named for the undetonated atomic bomb at its center, then the Galaxy News Radio station. The player then travels to Rivet City, a derelict aircraft carrier now serving as a fortified human settlement. Here the player meets Doctor Li, a scientist who worked alongside the player's father. Doctor Li informs the player of Project Purity, a plan to remove the radiation from the water of the Tidal Basin as a means of restoring the environment and improving the lives of those inhabiting the wasteland.

Gameplay
Fallout 3 is a game that feels like it will never end. There are so many campaign like quests and mini quests on the side. Do to how big the game is, it does get a little laggy at certain points but not usually. One of the great things about this game is the feature to speak to other characters. In fallout you actually build your character from scratch make him just like you. There fore you can pretty much say whatever you like to other characters

Graphics
The graphics are amazing considering that this game is from 09 and is pushing the limtes to how big it is for an Xbox game. Most of the characters look as if they were real but they still could be a bit better. The one huge land is called The Wasteland and i would say all around the graphics get a 8/10

Hello guys and welcome to my very first game review!

I'm hoping to do many more reviews of other games and

such but for now im starting out with portal 2!

Please notice that this is my review and this is how

I played and noticed things in this game. Lets get

started

Facts:
Portal 2 is a sequel to to the first portal game made by Valve in October 9 ,2007 in the "Orange box". Portal was quickly becoming a very popular PC game after it was released on Steam for free during its release. It was released on steam for free after its released making it one of the most popular games searched on youtube, because people needed help with a bunch of levels.

What portal is about:

Portal is a singleplayer/ Multiplayer (in portal 2 theres a multiplayer option) puzzle game. Some levels are challenging some are easy. the hard ones were more fun for me as they were more of a challenge, the game starts out easy and has a great story line with it. I suggest you pick up portal 1 before playing the second one as you will not understand most of the character development in the second if you dont play the first one. The game is about you in a weird testing chamber with a portal gun that shoots portals. One orange and one blue. In the first story you're accompanied by a robot glados. She ends up trying to kill you at the end of portal 1. After you succeed she will then die, or so you think...

Getting into the story more:

In the beginning of the second portal you wake up after being in a deep sleep. You hear a voice, it is Wheatly he is really a bad guy. And at the end of the story he tries to kill you. Glados ends up coming back to life after Wheatly hits a wrong switch and turns her power back up.

Review Time!:

In the very beginning of the single player story, the game tries to show you what happened after you destroyed glados. A robot (Wheatly) is trying to be as nice as he can to you because he wants to team up with you. This makes you believe he is trying to help you unlike glados. I mean no one can be worse than glados, right? Just like portal 1 this game is full of great voice acting, great graphics, amazing lighting, and witty comments from the robots. In the beginning Wheatly and you find a portal gun, he tells you to run a practice course to get used to the gun in case you never played portal 1. That helped me as i never bought portal 1 until i beat portal 2 which i suggest you guys don't do. For those skeptical about not being smart enough to figure out a puzzle thats fine, if you're stuck just look up your level and you'll find hundreds of tutorials
Even for you portal legends and beasts portal 2 is a game for you.

The final decision:

If you like fun puzzles and are just tired of other games portal 2 is the game for you. This game will give you a good 7-11 hours of great fun with portals. If you buy more than 5-10 games a year Portal 2 is one game you should definitely pick this game up

If you buy around 2-4 games a year and are not into puzzle games like portal i suggest you do not buy it, but at least give it a try.

Rating
8.5

Thank you for reading my review, I will make others and hopefully you guys liked my post! This took me a a very long time to make so any feedback or anything like that is greatly appreciated. Thank you guys and watch out for my other reviews

Synopsis
FT is a game for people with great amaginations. Build whatever you wont in a mass amount of space. There are diffrent building blocks such as: Brick, Concrete, Wood, ect... This game is still new and is being updated.

Gameplay(Wekipedia)
Upon starting a new game players spawn on a water-filled tower in a randomly generated world. From this point they may start exploring their world or assembling structures with the various block sets given to them. Conversely they may also choose to dig through the ground, hunting for Relics that give bonuses such as the ability to fly, to jump higher, to place TNT charges and blow up blocks, and more.

There currently is a total of thirty-two different cubic blocks in the game, each with their own pattern and design. The blocks vary from simple color and texture variants to being quite unique--the trampoline block, for example, is a unique block that propels players up in the air with each jump. Synopsis(IGN)

Batman: Arkham City builds upon the intense, atmospheric foundation of Batman: Arkham Asylum, sending players soaring into Arkham City, the new maximum security home for all of Gotham City's thugs, gangsters and insane criminal masterminds.

Set inside the heavily fortified walls of a sprawling district in the heart of Gotham City, this highly anticipated sequel introduces a brand-new story that draws together a new all-star cast of classic characters and murderous villains from the Batman universe, as well as a vast range of new and enhanced gameplay features to deliver the ultimate experience as the Dark Knight. /align]

[align=center]Gameplay(Wekipedia)
The player controls Batman, making his way around Arkham City to complete mission objectives. In addition to the primary mission, the game introduces secondary missions featuring a number of key characters and their stories. The player can opt to move silently, avoiding inmates and other enemies using a combination of gadgets and to sneak up on enemies to take them down silently, using new tactics to surprise the enemy. At other times, Batman may be forced to fight through inmates using an improved version of the combat system from Arkham Asylum, allowing for multiple simultaneous counters, reactions to thrown objects, and the use of all of Batman's gadgets within combat. Movement about the city is made difficult due to the formation of gangs and territory between rival villains, such as Two-Face and the Joker, that causes in-fighting that Batman needs to avoid
