Hey, I was just wondering if there was anyway to set up a minecrfat server on my local area network. So I could play on it and have another computer in my house connect without doing the whole port forwarding? Any one know if it's possible and how?

if you're on a mac download something called portmap it portfowards automatically (and its free )

Im on windows, I got the hamachi working but when I try join on my other account on my laptop it doesnt even try logging in even though there's a direct connection through hamachi
