You realize Treyarch has been working on this for almost two years. Bungie, about 8 months.

Im pretty sure Bungie has been working on it after Halo 3 came out.

But you do realize everyone here is a Call of Duty fanboy so it is completely biased.
My votes on Halo Reach the Call of duty franchise is milked way too much now but i might buy it when price drops but if the reviews is bad it's not worth my money so far Halo Reach beta has been amazing.
