Correct, however I think treyarch just wanted players that loved 3 burst to feel at home, after all the FN FAL for example is a fully automatic that can switch to single fire.

In more modern days the M16 can switch between Single/3burst/fullauto at any given time.
They should have added an attachment for these guns that lowers power for full auto :arrow:

The m16 can not full auto the m4 can however....

their on about real life not the video game the m16 can go full auto and since the second model has been able to go 3 burst

Maybe you should learn what you're talking about first. The NEWER M16 models have three firing modes, the Vietnam era M16 was ONLY semi-automatic and had a twenty (20) round magazine. Learn a thing or two about guns, kid. I bet you don't even know the difference between a mag and a clip.

the m16a1 was created in 1967 and was full auto with NO selector and was 20 rounds. the m16a2 was created in 1986 and had a full auto/ 3 shot burst and had a 30 round magazine

This is true. However, if it was realistic people would say that they shoulda made it burst because its a game and shouldnt b realistic. You cant please everyone. EIthier way, the m16 sucks.

The M16 can full auto yoiu need to check your facts LOL. just like the A2 can be full auto it is all in the trigger and lower reciever components. I have seen and used a full auto M16 as well as used an A2 with single, 3 round, full auto. biggest factor is spring tension and components which have been avaible for years.
