I'm pretty sure you need both your retail and jtag on the same dash and TU but i'm not very sure about the dash :/
Dashboards don't have to be the same.My jtag has the old dash.

Either one works but i would use wireless for retail and Ethernet cord for jtag. :)Ok I do that but doesnt work..
