when i load up tropico it instantly says that its stopped working? help?

I downloaded the tropico 5 codex and everytime i click on tropico 5 it loads the game up then instantly says tropico 5 has stopped working?? anyone know how to fix?

The monitor, keyboard and mouse are not going to be included in the PC build price they will be bought separately. But your suggestions for which ones I should get would help.
