You can, yes, but make sure once you get to your disc tray box thingy, you DONT lose the top magnetic peice, and dont scratch the lense above the laser. I did both of these things, because im retarded ...

Did you set your phone number on your xbox.com account? If so, you can use it as a recovery. You will get a simple SMS message with a security code, and from there you can reset your email/password.
