The Samsung S3 is a pretty amazing phone, also the Motorola Photon Q is amazing as well.

Music preference: All types: Metal, dub step, rap etc... Make sure they are a lot more bass heavy, but not enough to drown everything ...

Possibly, did it get wet or anything? And if you buy a new phone may I suggest the Samsung S3 or the HTC One X/S

They are all crap, I had a pair, and i took care of them, then they shorted and stopped working, money wasted.

Dont buy beats, waste of money, horrible quality, bass is muddy as crap, go to the music section there is a stickied thread on it.
