My iphone and my ipod wont detect on my computer. They don't show up in the drivers/printers area and don't charge when plugged in either. Any suggestions?

4s, the 5 isn't worth it. I have used both. the 5 is taller but has a smaller width so the icons are smaller. It's good for games etc. but not so good for general use.
