I have the same cpu with a 1070 and there is no throttling. Im sure the cpu would be able to handle a 1080. Maybe not the ti though

The motherboard will be fine but I would recommend getting a 1070ti instead of paying a little extra for a 1080 and then overclocking the 1070ti to get the same performance as a 1080.

The jailbreak only supports up to 11.4 beta 3. You cant jailbreak on 11.4.1

Go for the X if you think its cool. Why get more storage if you're not going to use it and a worse phone when you could have better performance and more features.
