Since MW2 became backwards compatible on Xbox One I haven't been able to invite my friend to a game or join his session...Is this an issue for anyone else or just me?

Anybody else encounter the little invisible barrier across from the power switch right near the flaming barrel? This ends 80% of my games because I train in that area and always get stuck on a nonexis ...
