Version 1.09 will include water spawners, this is a block that when placed, will spawn water. You can remove them and then rejoin and there wont be water in the spawner location anymore.

I think, if you harness the power of this guy with the hammer correctly, you can use him to gain anything you want (override perk machines, pack-a-punch, etc.)
