Anyone know how to root note 8 on a mac I have Odin on mac but it won't detect my phone on there in download mode

Anyone help with rooting note 8 on mac

I have done that about 10 times and on different tvs have striped it down as well to check if they have come loose off the M/B but they haven't

Ihave got hdmi plugged in and the av lead and I'm not getting anysignal on the TV I have do the hold power button and wait for the second beep and it's still not doing anything

I do All the steps right and it show that it has work and they are both the same level and prestige but the it goes back to my normal level after 1 second (Xbox one)
