Just wondering on ut do the other group games in your group get simulated or what happens

Can anyone explain how the group stage works as wondering does it just simulate randomly the rest of the games for the guys you play thanks you.

I have about 700k and looking for and amazing icon I would save up as probably going to play SB and Fut champs a lot any icons that are just op mainly need a defensive CM or a decent all round player ...
