The jumping seems different to Halo in the sense your bullets aren't accurate mid air. I don't think it looks anything like Halo visually and mechanics wise, it has that CoD feel to it still.

It's random bro but I get better results with a full fireteam. I also get more consistent drops after 30 minutes.

i did this for like 40 minutes all i got was like 4 blues and I'm level 25
It's random but I definitely had more success with more people participating

I'd say around 45 minutes
