It's not too important, in my opinion.
I picked a Nord and I'm still awesome with Archery.
Just get some training and stuff..
Also I might recommend just making a character that looks how you want ...

Being a Werewolf is just awesome..
You get to be immune to diseases, have +1900 carrying limit, awesome attacks and running speed.
Last time I used Werewolf form was when I had too much stuff on me ...

I used the Daedric Heart in Jorvaskr and the ebony ore from the Throat of the World. Then I bought Daedric Hearts for the rest ^^

I've read GameStop has some for 150. Pretty good ones, too, with 3 games, awesome HDD, just no Kinect.
