Did you guys try in this exact order? I think deleting the update & then making your order in LS customs will affect your results... and too also have your Xbox off during Steps 1-3

How do I delete the title update?

go to the dashboard, then Settings > System > Storage > All Devices > GTA V > The last title update, make sure its the latest one & not the one ...

Very bad choice. now you have officially lost your character

Be patient, do not create a new character, keep deleting the title update and starting the game back up
