When i try to join my jtag from my retail it says unable to connect to host. Is this because my ping is above 30?

i can't seem to find my jtag from my retail when i host a system link game, why is this?

I've been doing that. And do i need to hook my jtag to router and retail to router. Or retail to jtag? And would there be any other reasons why it isnt finding it?

No, i took out the Hdd, and all i have in it is a usb with a profile, that's it (don't even have xex menu on it). And yet games only launch when i am not signed in.
