When you import or drag in images it makes them separate layers

the layer panel SHOULD by default be to the bottom right

import both images then use the eraser to rub out the part of the one you ...

There is plenty I could say but most importantly I think you need to get rid of that B&W gradient... make the design more colourful if its going on a bedroom wall
