I recommend a RGH slim with 1 TB harddrive, that will give you enough room for all the games you want, no worries about RROD or any other problems. Thats what I have and got rid of my jtags on eBay

I have RGH but no patch on it, I will need a lttle instruction, I use FlashFXP to connect to RGH and move files on to it.
