You can get 8gb of RAM for about $40 on Newegg. You still haven't told us what your processor is and how much ram your computer can take though.

Id say 5-600 the terabyte hard drive and monitor really add to the price these days but again it all depends on condition

If i had the money I'd go Intel....but AMD is ok for now i guess. they have to get their bulldozer cores right though
