my mate had the same problem but he just cleaned all his disks and blew very lightly into the disk tray, he thought it was just dust and from then on it worked? try and tell me if it works

dirty disc reading laser, look on youtube if warranty is up, if it isnt get a new one

slap / bunch litely the top of ur xbox afew times while its loading / reading it should work it worked 4 me if this dosent work then you will need to buy and install a new laser if u are good with com ...

Basically whenever I put a game in my Xbox you can hear the disk loading and then on screen it says play DVD? Does anyone know if this is fixable?
