hi guys just bought a netbook through att and i am returning it soon i have a 30 day return policy on it why am i returning it you ask ??
1. its smaller. yeah i like the feature of having a smaller laptop but size comes at a price simply because it doesnt have the processing power memory or full functionality of a full size laptop.
2. Practicality. i have a dell XPS laptop with the AT&T 3g mobile broadband card and i can play full games on the go plus have the 3g internet speeds to play online to boot.
3. Technical support and Warranty. by far your going to get twice the warranty on a manufacturers machine than your going to get with AT&T and their cheap ACER series netbook. Technical support is much better on my XPS than what i get with the AT&T netbook.
4. The Commitment. Furthermore to receive a netbook at a reasonable price comes with a lengthy contract and if you dont want to be bound by a contract then expect to pay in the upwards of $500.00 + for a new netbook.
conclustion i would much rather have my XPS laptop with a mobile broadband card than pay $500.00+ retail for a netbook but thats just me and everyone is different for some its fantastic but if your a computer enthusiast then stick with the full laptop and if you must have internet get the mobile broadband card from sprint or ATT for a dollar and $60.00 a month

i personally love the little things i have my own laptop at my house and 2 computers and one of those little things that you could slip into a backpack and go on the internet like every where... i think it is awsome if you already have something you can game on and do stuff at your house then you can easily take it someplace and use the internet.
