I have this game and love it! , and also I love sniping ! , so here's a few tips. I would suggest to start sniping on rush on Arica Harbour as I find that Sniping heaven , next you want to whip out the M24 (or SV-98 would be better if you have it) now in each different zone there will be a building with three floors (except the first zone-just use the watchtowers there).ALWAYS use the second floor as it provides cover but still remains at quite a height, now BFBC2 requires snipers to basicly camp !just sit on the second floor every so often poking out your rifle for a quick look-about,also there is such a thing as "spawn trapping" on this game so if you see one you cant quite pick off, dont give away your position, just wait till his squad start spawning there and wa-la youve got yourself a killfest, FINALLY this should all be done on hardcore as sniping on core is about as useful as  ,I hope the tips work . GOOD GAMING .peace.

xKRYPTiiCx wrote 1. Play hardcore (no hitmarker bs)
2. Camp
-camp next to trees
-next to bushes

3. Camp
4. Camp moar
5. Pitch a tent and camp
6. Stay on the outside of the map.
I can't stress 2-5 enough. This isn't no cod where you can sprint around the map with a barret.
It's more realistic
There are still hit markers, when you get hit, the little red thing comes up where you got shot from.. very fast and hard to notice if your not looking.. (doesn't help at all considering the maps are so big, if you get hit from the left you got a lot of ground on the left side to cover to find him)
and i agree with everything you say..Its NOT spray and pray, belly flopping, halo jumping, noob friendly game like MW2. It takes time to get use to, if you come right of mw2, you are most likey going to hate the game. But take the time figure it out and i can garnetee you will give away mw2.
PS. NON HARDCORE is hard as **** to camp,.. if you dont have any patience play regular game mode. (very low on campers)
