What Are the causes to a xenon getting rrod?
If it we're overheating, you would simply install more fans that would fix it.

I read this somewhere online i cant remember but it said that the jaspers have small parts while the xenons have something that takes up alot of space and doesnt let the air move around as much so it gets hotter and over heats faster

The Heat Sinks are shitty, same with the CPU.

It's due to heat cause the board to flex and break the soldered connections mainly between the GPU and motherboard, but also RAM, H/ANA, Southbridge.....
So keep it cool and look around on the web on how to improve the console from stock....

There is nothing you can do to keep RROD away, even with Reflows/Reballs...
Nvidia is the problem, they produce the Xbox chips and many many laptop chips and guess what...They all fail with graphic/no video issues...
Blame the problems on Nvidia! 8)

lmao u serious ? the gpu is an ati chip , as posted proper cooling will help a lot , 3,rd fan
12 fans , fan shroud mod etc ,
as for the post about the heat sinks , 1/2 right
the cpu heatsink in xenon is best made ever (put one in a falcon and test the difference )
the gpu heatsink in xneon is the worst , the 2nd gen heatsink in xenon can help a lot as well
board warping is the #1 cause , the lead free solder which works well in many devices didnt work out so well for the 360 due to the warping and lead free does not bond as well as leaded
so u get cold connections once board is warped

Poor design by Microsoft BUT not completely their fault, even though lots of design flaws - DVD drive directly over the GPU??? GPU heatsink size or lack of. Fan's being several inches away from the heatsinks. Top that with unleaded solder and the amount of heat these machine's kick out = Kerching! :p
