I mean without a resistor on the controllers motherboard!
I know that i have to have resistors for the LED's..
Anybody have any experience in this?

you dont need a resistor if you are soldering it to the rumble packs to make it rumble activated

no you do not there are locations on the controller where you can
You can solder to the rumble pack or to the battery pack solder points

I suggest you do this the right way. Use a transister with a resistor off of that. Solder it to the points on the board that allow it to be off when the controller is off. If you do it any other way it looks cheap. If you need to know solder points for this let me know.

If you can PM me the solder points would be great. Also, I have a CG controller and not the old Matrix motherboard, that was kind of the thing i was asking lol
