The first DLC, of two promised DLC packs, has gotten a release date that was announced today. It was announced to be a partnered promotional map pack with Monster Energy Drink. it is to be released in Spring of 2010.

wow a map pack announcement before the game comes out...why didnt they just add them to the game?...are they that sure of themselves in the game that they moved to DLC?...When will the drink be available?

Yeah its crazy that they are already planning that far ahead. A lot of people that commented at the two sources are mad that since they already planned it and they think that they are not concentrating on the game itself. Some commenters also think that since it's announced that the map pack is finished and that the maps should be in the game for release, but the maps are probably only still in the development phase.

Cool Beans. Bad drink. But why don't they just add them to the map you ask? Because they want to steal your money and make you buy MP1

the map packs make them the most money their so much easyer to make then the game and get such alot of money out of em...

Yeah it's obvious that they didn't put the maps in the game on release is more money. I would've done the same if it meant more money and so would have everyone else, but yet they are still mad when they would've done the same thing. What I think the people are really mad about is that the devs get to play on the DLC maps and the game itself long before they do.
