Valve has announced the bonuses for pre-ordering L4D2. Unfortunately the bonuses might only apply to Steam( [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] ) IGN is currently checking to see if the bonuses apply to the Xbox 360. the bonuses is an early access to the game via Demo, a special in-game weapon, a baseball bat, and a 10% price reduction off of the game itself. I really hope the bonuses do apply for the Xbox 360 because that's what I pre-ordered it for.

Edit~~Update: ""Valve just sent out word the same pre-order offer is also available at "participating retailers" for both Xbox 360 and PC. This is not exclusive to Steam.""

did you have to preorder it a while ago? Or is it still possible to preorder and get the game?

Yeah you will get the pre-order bonuses, but only if you pre-order it off of steam as of now. Like I said IGN is trying to find out if the Xbox pre-orders will get it.
