make sure you chose the right firmware to restore, if not look for a custon firmware.
Try tinyumbrella?

Yea I'm not sure why'd you'd reset all the data?
But as long as you restored it, it's ok.

i did everything you said and it says error 1161 can't restore ipod

Here Download tinyumbrella from here: [ Register or Signin to view external links. ] on the right click your operating system once you have it open it and you should see a thing called run tss server Click it if you have itunes open it will close it just re open it and follow the steps i gave you to fix it NOTE *** (the link up here replace the 5's with periods
