i have mortal kombat 2011 and homefront on my jtag and i cant get them to work..i transferred them from computer to external harddrive to jtag using wx360..can someone please help me...everytime my jtag tries to play these games it asks for a console update...then it says disc unreadable

I thinks you need to download the Title Update along with the actual games.

Been hearing alot about Homefront having problems on JTAG's.

you need to be on 12625 to play the new games or get a ptched default.xex to work on old dashboards.

Yes this should work. I also heard about patching the xex using hex editor but have never tried it myself.

that is 100% also may need to run the official 12655 update to get avatar / kinect as well
or take memory stick or hdd and run in on a legit box on xbl

or patch the default xex with xex tool > xextool -r a default.xex
