Fixing Turtle Beaches X41:
Just before I started saving, I bought Turtle Beach X41's which were great until the other day when they started that old crackle and pop routine. Short after they would start to crackle, they would shut off and upon turning them on they would just make a high pitched screech noise and turn off.
Does anyone know how to fix this problem? I have done all of the following:
Buying Astro A40s:
If I cannot fix my old X41's I will be needing to buy new headphones and the next step for me would be Astro A40s. I have tried them out at my friend's house and LOVE the quality, feel and weight of the headphones. To be exact he has red BxRs with the Wireless MixAmp and rechargeable battery which is what I would get, but blue instead.
Can anyone tell me what the Pros and Cons would be on this new headset?
Thanks
-Collin

- *New Batteries
*Re Sync
*Different Controller
*No Chat Cable
*Unplug AirTunes (Which helped the first time this happened)
