Don't listen to your friend he's most likely retarded. I have an iPad and an iPod touch and I NEED my jailbreak, don't get me wrong they're get devices even without the JB but I just love the extra features and customisability, you should use it for a while and see how you feel.

i have a 4th gen ipod and i thought it was amazing until i jailbroke it and it got even better i almost never stop using it. i love all the free apps and their is so much more you can do when you jailbreak it

Without my 4th gen iPod, I wouldn't even be on TTG because I can't use my computer I have.
